Job Title: Administrative Manager Location: Sloka International School, Tukkuguda Reporting To: Principal / School Director Position Overview: The Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day non-academic operations of the school. This role requires a dynamic, proactive individual capable of ensuring smooth school administration, fostering positive parent relationships, and leading support staff efficiently. The Admin Manager acts as a key link between academic leadership, operational staff, parents, and vendors. Key Responsibilities: 1. School Operations Management: Oversee the entire administrative functioning of the school. Ensure smooth operation of facilities including transport, housekeeping, maintenance, canteen, and security. Monitor daily campus readiness including cleanliness, safety, utilities, and logistics. Ensure compliance with all school policies, statutory norms, and safety regulations. Coordinate with transport vendors and ensure safe and timely student commutes. 2. Front Office and Parent Interaction: Supervise front office operations ensuring a courteous and professional environment. Serve as a point of contact for parent concerns, complaints, and queries—escalating to senior management where needed. Maintain professional and empathetic communication with parents during admissions, events, grievances, and emergencies. Ensure all parent interactions reflect the school’s values, discipline, and culture. 3. Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise and lead non-teaching administrative staff (front desk, housekeeping, transport, security, maintenance, etc.). Allocate tasks and schedules; ensure accountability and performance tracking. Provide training and development support for admin team members. Foster a culture of responsibility, discipline, and respect across the admin staff. 4. Event & Logistics Coordination: Support planning and logistics of school events, celebrations, exams, parent-teacher meetings, and field trips. Coordinate with internal teams for infrastructure, seating, refreshments, and equipment arrangements. 5. Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee procurement and maintenance of school supplies, equipment, and stationery. Maintain inventory logs and ensure proper usage and reporting systems. 6. Communication & Reporting: Regularly update school leadership on admin status, issues, and improvements. Prepare periodic reports on facility readiness, staff performance, and operational concerns. Work closely with HR and accounts teams for admin staff payroll, attendance, and compliance. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Administration, Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in school/educational administration. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Tech-savvy with familiarity in school ERPs and MS Office. Calm and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
