Job Description

Financial Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and payroll related compliance, and general ledger.
  • Prepare & present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting.
  • Manage budgeting processes and support cross functional departmental budget planning.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc)
  • Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of income tax returns
  • Manage statutory, Tax audits, assessments and ensure to respond within the time limit.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g, MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC etc)
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling with RBI (e.g, FLA return, FC-TRS etc)
  • Maintain documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions
  • Coordinate both internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Strategic Support:

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Ad hoc projects & analysis as needed

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Train staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g. NetSuite, Tally etc).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
