Position Overview:

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the overall accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role involves overseeing daily accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and leading the accounts team to support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting to align with business goals.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and coordinate with internal, statutory, and tax auditors.
• Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls, systems, and accounting best practices.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide the accounts team to enhance performance, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Collaborate with banks, vendors, and external stakeholders on financial matters and negotiations.
• Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness in financial operations.
• Provide strong leadership and oversight to the accounts team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software or tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
