Accounts Manager

As an Accounts Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, tax compliance, and internal controls. Your experience in cost accounting and financial management within a manufacturing industry will be vital in ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and industry-specific regulations. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - **Financial Reporting:** - Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data. - **Cost Accounting & Cost Control:** - Oversee the tracking and analysis of production costs. - Develop cost allocation methods and conduct variance analysis. - **Budgeting & Forecasting:** - Collaborate with departments to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor performance against budgets and provide financial insights. - **Inventory Management & Valuation:** - Manage the financial aspects of inventory and ensure proper valuation methods are applied. - Perform periodic inventory reconciliation. - **Tax Compliance & Reporting:** - Handle federal, state, and local tax filings. - Optimize tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations. - **Auditing & Internal Controls:** - Coordinate internal and external audits. - Develop internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. - **Cash Flow Management:** - Monitor cash flow and liquidity to meet working capital requirements. - Assist in cash flow forecasting to support financial decision-making. - **Financial Analysis & Decision Support:** - Provide insights and financial analysis to support management in decision-making processes. - **Regulatory Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. - **Financial Systems & ERP Management:** - Manage financial systems and processes, including integration with ERP systems. - Ensure accurate and consistent financial data across systems. - **Team Leadership & Development:** - Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants to enhance team performance. **Qualifications Required:** - CA, MBA Finance, ICFA or any other equivalent field. **Other Skills & Abilities:** - Must have the ability to multi-task and organize effectively. - Effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to influence change. - Strong communication skills and willingness to do detailed work for project success. **Desired Candidate Profile:** - Must be fully conversant with Taxation/Statutory Compliances, Budgeting, Funds Management, Audit and Reporting, Financial Planning, Team Management.
