Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies. Manage the budgeting process, including planning, forecasting, and reporting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas of improvement. Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors. Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide training and support as needed. Manage cash flow, banking, and investment activities. Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets. Assist in financial planning and strategy with senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage. Proven work experience (5+ years) as an Accounts Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
