About the Role
Accounts & Finance Manager
grassroots level
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting & Reporting
- Supervise timely and accurate recording of financial and stock transactions.
- Ensure daily closing reports and reconciliations are completed for all units.
- Manage month-end processes and finalization of accounts.
Financial Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with Indian financial laws including
GST, TDS, and income tax
. - Handle GST filings, TDS returns, e-way bills, and personal tax submissions.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
Systematizing Accounting Practices
- Standardize and streamline accounting workflows across multiple locations.
- Train and upskill internal accountants to adopt uniform SOPs and reporting methods.
Client & Vendor Finance Coordination
- Coordinate all financial communication with retail, wholesale, and manufacturing vendors and clients.
- Manage documentation, payment terms, and accuracy in supplier records.
Export Orders & Cross-Border Transactions
- Handle finance processes related to
export orders
, including documentation (Proforma Invoice, Shipping Bills, Customs Declarations) and forex payments. - Ensure compliance with
FEMA, RBI
, and customs requirements for cross-country transactions
(INR, AED, USD, etc.).
Financial Reporting & Auditing
- Prepare consolidated P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets across business units.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
Strategic Planning & E-commerce Integration
- Plan and oversee the financial ecosystem of the group’s upcoming
e-commerce division
, including reconciliation of payment gateways, vendor payouts, and digital transaction logs. - Monitor cash flows, burn rates, and cost controls in alignment with business expansion plans.
Banking, Financial Strategy & Institutional Liaison
- Act as the primary liaison with
banks
for loans, credit facilities, and payment structuring across all business verticals. - Represent the company in financial matters with
auditors, CAs, government bodies, and statutory agencies
. - Draft and implement
finance policies and systems
for the group to support structured scalability. - Strategize and execute long-term
financial roadmaps
for all business units, supporting their evolution into a cohesive corporate entity. - Collaborate at the
grassroots level
with cross-functional teams to ensure financial actions are aligned with ground-level operations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Education
: M.Com / MBA in Finance; CA Intermediate
preferredExperience
: 4–10 years in similar roles (jewellery/retail/export/e-commerce sector preferred)Skills
: Tally, Zoho Books, MS Excel, ERP systemsLanguages
: English (mandatory); Hindi & Tamil desirableTravel
