About the Role:

Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including financial statements, general ledger, and journal entries.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile a variety of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure timely bank payments and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and industry standards, including those specific to the healthcare sector.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Collaborate with various hospital departments to address financial inquiries and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Process payroll, manage fixed assets, and handle billing and insurance claims in a compliant and timely manner.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and perform regular database backups to ensure data security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience

   as an Accountant, preferably within a healthcare setting or hospital.

• Prior experience with NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) standards and protocols is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and experience with accounting software like Tally.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
• Highly organized and a problem-solver with a proactive attitude.
