Role Overview

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance team in reporting and audits. This role is critical in maintaining transparency and efficiency in the financial operations of Focus Diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries including payments, receipts, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and update ledgers, trial balance, and other financial statements.
• Process vendor bills, staff reimbursements, and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients/corporates for outstanding dues.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory filings.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense summaries, and variance analysis.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee-related reimbursements.
• Coordinate with branch managers for revenue reconciliation and daily collections.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP / Zoho Books / or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliations).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for vendor and internal team coordination.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. (M.Com or CA Inter preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or service industry.
• Familiarity with diagnostic center billing and healthcare financial practices is an added advantage.
