Junior Accountant – Focus Diagnostics

About the Role:

Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and voucher processing.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and accounts payable/receivable regularly.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings under the guidance of the senior accountant.
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audits.
Follow up with vendors and branches for invoice clarifications and payment updates.
Help prepare internal financial reports and MIS statements for management review.
Handle petty cash management and daily cash flow tracking for the assigned branch.
Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance-related field.
0–2 years of accounting experience (preferably in a healthcare or service industry).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.
Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effective communication skills in English and Telugu (preferred).
