AccioJob is a Y Combinator–backed skilling + hiring platform on a mission to solve India’s employability. We train graduates in full-stack development, data analytics and AI, then place them in roles at 500 + partner companies through industry led offline and online programs.

We blend AI-powered assessments and in-person hiring drives to give employers a faster, higher-quality funnel of pre-screened talent.

About the role:

Account Executive with 2+ years

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.

* Perform bulk data entry tasks, including bank reconciliations, sales, purchases, petty cash book.

* Ensure statutory compliance with TDS, GST, and other applicable tax regulations.

* Coordinate effectively with auditors during audits and financial reviews.

* Regularly review, reconcile, and update financial records in Zoho Books.

* Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries in the accounting software.

* Generate error-free financial reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

* Identify discrepancies, suggest improvements for efficiency, and cost-saving measures.

* Manage bookkeeping tasks, including voucher preparation and documentation.

* Assist with tax calculations and filings as required.

* Support the team during month-end and year-end closing processes.

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth departmental functioning.

* Handle any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.

Zoho Books

* In-depth knowledge of taxation laws (TDS, GST, etc.).

MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
