Account Associate

Alba Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Account Executive to support our Finance & Accounts operations in Indore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, proficiency in Tally ERP, and excellent analytical and problem solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and entries in Tally ERP.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal and cash entries.
• Maintain and handle petty cash transactions and daily expenditure reports.
• Keep accurate records of vouchers, receipts, bills, and payments.
• Conduct bank and vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
• Handle GST compliance, including calculations, filing, and reconciliations.
• Assist in audit processes, internal checks, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to manage invoicing and payments.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in Tally ERP and other accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of GST, journal entries, and petty cash handling.
• Familiarity with accounts reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and financial queries.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
