Job Description

As an HR Assistant at our Vijayapura property, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department. Your proactive and organized approach will be essential in assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, employee engagement, HR documentation, and administrative tasks. By ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with company policies, you will contribute to the overall success of our team. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in end-to-end recruitment processes such as job postings, screening, coordination of interviews, and documentation. You will also be responsible for coordinating new employee on-boarding, induction sessions, and maintaining joining formalities. Keeping accurate employee records, both physical and digital, and ensuring the precision of HR MIS will be a critical aspect of your role. Additionally, you will collaborate with department heads to coordinate training and development activities and handle day-to-day employee queries related to HR policies, leave, attendance, and more. Furthermore, you will assist in organizing employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and HR initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience. Upholding the confidentiality of employee information and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws will be paramount. You will also support the HR Manager in audits, reports, and internal communication to contribute to the strategic objectives of the HR department. To excel in this role, you should possess a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in the hospitality industry. Good knowledge of HR functions and employment laws, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with HR software are essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail, will be key to your success in this role.,
