Role Overview:

The Director at Accordion will own multiple client relationships and provide analytics- oriented thought partnership. (S)he will oversee multiple project teams to facilitate delivery of high-quality analytics services and identify opportunities for deeper client engagement.

What You will do:

The roles and responsibilities of a Business Director (Healthcare) will include the below:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of

    US-based healthcare

    client’s business challenges to proactively recommend analyses that can deliver results for the client.
  • Facilitate value addition to the client’s business by driving the problem-solving process and bringing an independent perspective based on domain knowledge and past US healthcare experience.
  • Regularly engage in peer level discussions with the C-Suite of client companies, to partner with them as a trusted analytics advisor.
  • Develop robust knowledge of functional areas (

    Revenue Cycle Management,

    Clinical Operations, Value Based Care, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) across healthcare and other relevant industries to provide relevant and actionable insights backed by robust analytics.
  • Facilitate people development and proactively ensure that development agenda is fulfilled for all team members.
  • Leverage domain expertise in healthcare analytics to support business development efforts, providing insights and thought leadership to potential clients
  • Support the onboarding of new healthcare projects and play the role of subject matter expert on engagements.
  • Develop healthcare related knowledge base of the organization by driving internal initiatives in partnership with the Knowledge Management and Learning & Development teams.


Ideally, you have:

The roles and responsibilities of a Business Director (Healthcare) will include the below

  • Undergraduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) from tier-1/tier-2 colleges is preferred
  • MBA degree from top tier colleges is preferred
  • Minimum 9-years of total work experience with minimum 4-years in solving complex problems in the US healthcare side across payor operations, payment integrity, revenue cycle management, US Healthcare Provider systems, value-based care, electronic medical records, and other healthcare technology/product-based organizations.
  • Strong analytical reasoning & problem-solving capabilities to identify patterns, draw insights and recommend solutions live.
  • Ability to share complex thoughts and tailor written and verbal communication based on the context.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in client facing/professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management, value-based care concepts, US Healthcare Provider technology architecture and cloud platforms will be a plus.
