Zonal Sales Manager (B2B)

Job Purpose:The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales operations within the assigned geographical zone. This role involves strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability targets while ensuring a strong market presence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve zonal targets in alignment with organizational goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for the zone. 2. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), and field teams. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for skill development. Drive a high-performance culture through training and development initiatives. 3. Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners. Implement effective schemes and promotional strategies to drive sales growth. 4. Operations & Process ManagementEnsure timely execution of sales plans and achievement of key metrics like revenue, volume, and collections. Monitor stock levels, supply chain, and logistics for smooth distribution within the zone. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. 5. Market Intelligence & ReportingCollect, analyze, and present market data to support strategic decisions. Provide accurate and timely MIS reports, sales analysis, and competitor updates to the management team. Monitor zone-wise performance and take corrective actions when needed. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achievement of zonal sales and revenue targets.
