Senior Manager Exhibition Sales

Indian Retailer (Media Group Franchise India)

The Senior Manager – Exhibition Sales will lead revenue generation for exhibitions, trade shows, and B2B retail events hosted by Indian Retailer, the media division of Franchise India. The role involves driving sponsorships, exhibitor acquisition, strategic partnerships, and key account management to maximize event profitability and market impact within the Indian retail ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Targets

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed exhibition revenue targets.
    • Identify high-potential retail brands, D2C companies, suppliers, and solution providers for exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

    • Build and manage relationships with CXOs, marketing heads, retail leaders, and industry partners.
    • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close exhibitor and sponsorship deals.
  • Event Planning Collaboration

    • Work closely with the events, marketing, and content teams to design exhibition value propositions.
    • Ensure exhibitor deliverables are aligned with event objectives and audience profiles.
  • Market Research & Industry Mapping

    • Track retail industry trends, competition, and brand expansions to identify new revenue streams.
    • Maintain updated databases and pipelines for potential clients.
  • Team Leadership & Performance

    • Lead and mentor a sales team to improve performance, drive conversions, and optimize sales operations.
