Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Head / Accounting Head / CFO with a deep understanding of the real estate sector, including project financing, regulatory compliance, taxation, and financial risk management. The ideal candidate will drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, and optimize financial performance to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy:
Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and ensure financial stability.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and project cost analysis.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management for real estate projects.
Identify investment opportunities and assess financial risks in property development and acquisitions.
Accounting & Compliance:
Ensure accurate financial reporting as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and RERA compliance.
Manage GST, Income Tax, Stamp Duty, and other tax regulations applicable to real estate.
Oversee project-based accounting, revenue recognition, and cost management.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits, ensuring transparency in financial operations.
Fundraising & Banking Relations:
Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for project financing, working capital, and loans.
Raise debt and equity funding for new real estate projects and optimize capital structuring.
Negotiate with lenders, investors, and financial partners for better financial terms.
Cost & Risk Management:
Implement financial controls and cost optimization strategies for real estate projects.
Evaluate and mitigate financial risks related to real estate investments and operations.
Ensure effective fund utilization across multiple projects.
Business Partnering & Leadership:
Provide financial insights to the CEO/MD and senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Work closely with Sales, Legal, and Project teams to ensure smooth execution of real estate transactions.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team for operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience: 15-25 years in Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure, Banking, Insurance, Internet, Consulting Industry.
Expertise in fundraising, banking, and project finance.
Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, and financial reporting tools.
Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
