Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and manage all warehouse operations for our e-commerce textile business, ensuring smooth inventory flow from inbound to dispatch. The role requires strong expertise in handling fabric, garments, and finished goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring timely order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, sorting, quality checking, storage, and dispatch of textile products.
• Ensure accurate inventory management using ERP/WMS systems (preferably Odoo or similar).
• Maintain proper fabric and apparel handling standards to prevent damage and ensure product quality.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for seamless order processing and dispatch.
• Plan and manage warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and smooth product movement.
• Lead, train, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Implement best practices in warehouse safety, cleanliness, and material handling.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics (order accuracy, dispatch time, damage rate, etc.).
• Ensure on-time order fulfillment, especially during sales and peak periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in warehouse management (preferably in e-commerce or textile industry).
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, packaging, and dispatch processes.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Odoo preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage large volumes efficiently.
• Familiarity with courier and logistics coordination for online orders.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SKU management and barcode scanning systems.
• Understanding of textile product categorization and quality control.
• Data-driven approach with experience in MIS reporting.
