Vendor Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all existing vendors and develop strong working relationships.
• Ensure timely supply of raw materials, consumables, and services to support production activities.
• Communicate with vendors regularly for order follow-ups, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Identify new vendors as needed to improve cost, quality, and supply reliability.
• Coordinate with the production, quality, and stores team for daily material requirements.
• Maintain vendor records, agreements, and performance reports.
• Ensure vendor compliance with quality standards and company policies.
• Represent the company professionally during meetings, visits, and negotiations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong negotiation and vendor-handling skills.
• Good presentation and representation ability.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of working in a production/manufacturing environment is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Supply Chain/Engineering preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in vendor management in a production/manufacturing unit.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
