Educational Qualifications

• Minimum:

  Graduation in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by the Govt. of India / Govt. bodies / AICTE

• Preferred:

  Post Graduate Diploma / MBA in any discipline

Experience

• Minimum

  5 years of cumulative experience

  in Bank / NBFC / Financial Services / Financial Institution / Insurance Industry / Financial Intermediary / Financial Allied Industry
• Minimum

  2 years of hands-on experience

  in vendor management/collection vendor oversight within any of the above sectors

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, banking regulations, debt collection laws, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor, review, and update internal policies to maintain compliance with evolving regulations.
  
• Conduct periodic audits of collection vendors and processes to ensure compliance standards are met.
  
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for legal and regulatory compliance for each vendor.
  

2. Risk Management

• Identify operational, compliance, and reputational risks in vendor-managed collection processes.
  
• Recommend mitigation strategies to strengthen vendor governance.
  
• Conduct internal investigations in cases of non-compliance, misconduct, or fraudulent activities by vendors or their field staff (FOS).
  

3. Reporting and Monitoring

• Prepare vendor visit reports, compliance assessments, and performance monitoring reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  
• Track vendor performance metrics in collections and ensure continuous improvement.
  
• Provide structured feedback to internal teams on compliance gaps and recommended improvements.
  

4. Training and Development

• Develop and deliver training programs related to regulatory updates, compliance standards, and vendor/FOS responsibilities.
  
• Ensure vendor field officers (FOS) receive adequate training on ethical collection practices and compliance protocols.
  

5. Customer Grievance Handling

• Establish and maintain efficient grievance redressal mechanisms for complaints related to vendor-managed collection activities.
  
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and prevent recurrence.
  

6. Ethics and Fair Practices

• Ensure vendors follow fair debt collection practices and adhere to customer protection norms.
  
• Monitor vendor activities to prevent any form of misconduct, aggression, or harassment during customer interactions.
  

7. Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to align vendor collection practices with internal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections, audits, or compliance reviews.
