Junior Interior Designer

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of Pooja rooms within residential projects. The ideal candidate will be involved from conceptualization through to detailed design, working closely on moodboarding, space planning, and 2D/3D modeling. A strong understanding of interior spaces, materials, and cultural sensitivity related to sacred spaces is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop creative concepts and design solutions for Pooja rooms within residential interiors. Create moodboards that reflect the theme, materials, and aesthetic suited for sacred and serene spaces. Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings using CAD and design software. Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture suitable for Pooja rooms. Collaborate with senior designers and project teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility. Understand and apply principles of Vastu Shastra or related practices, if applicable, in design concepts. Assist in presenting designs to clients and integrating feedback into revisions. Stay updated on design trends, especially those relevant to religious or spiritual interiors. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field. Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar). Strong creative flair with an eye for detail in space planning and material selection. Basic knowledge of interior architecture, especially for residential interiors. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Familiarity or willingness to learn about Pooja room design specifics and cultural aspects. Preferred Qualifications: Experience or interest in sacred or ritualistic space design. Knowledge of traditional Indian materials, artifacts, and crafts related to Pooja rooms.
