Job Title: US Accountant

Managed by a team of qualified professionals, CRSP Connect specializes in quality bookkeeping, accountancy, payroll, taxation, medical billing, and inventory management services tailored to clients' needs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Accountant with 4+years of recent and relevant accounting experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of US GAAP, proficiency in QuickBooks, Concur, and Excel, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Perform month-end close responsibilities including posting journal entries, preparing prepaid and accrual schedules, and payroll allocations.

·      Reconcile daily/monthly banking activity and resolve discrepancies.

·      Post business transactions, process invoices, perform slip matching, and maintain accurate accounts payable records.

·      Reconcile and post credit card transactions.

·      Variance analysis and reporting

·      Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports analyzing company spending.

·      Conduct account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

·      Prepare month/year-end reporting packages, including for tax and incentive programs, 401(k) reporting, and census.

·      Support tax and financial statement audit requests.

·      Administer, review, and report travel and expense reimbursements using Concur.

·      Monitor vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with payment terms and clauses.

·      Lead vendor negotiations and assist with daily cash management and treasury functions.

·      Support payroll processing and related benefits reporting.

·      Manage corporate gas card program.

·      Oversee inventory ordering and tracking.

·      Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational needs.

·      Accounts Payable and Purchasing experience

·      Experience working with auditors / financial statement review liasion

Qualifications:

·      BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).

·      4+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience.

·      Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

·      Proficient in QuickBooks, Concur, and Microsoft Excel.

·      High level of mental acuity and attention to detail.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·      Familiarity with Bill Pay and Paychex is a plus.

·      Self-starter with strong ethical standards and adherence to standard procedures.
