Job Description For Senior F&A Associate:

We are a dynamic and fast-growing accounting and tax advisory firm serving a diverse

portfolio of US-based clients, including small businesses, startups, and high-net-worth

individuals. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial

services. We are currently seeking a skilled Senior F&A Associate to join our team and

contribute to the financial success of our clients by ensuring compliance, reporting

accuracy, and business advisory support.

Role Overview:

The Senior US Accountant will take ownership of the full accounting cycle for multiple

clients or business units, including general ledger oversight, month-end close, financial

reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. This role requires deep knowledge of US

GAAP, attention to detail, and strong communication skills for client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process including journal entries,

reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in

accordance with US GAAP.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities for multiple clients or

entities.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, AR, AP, payroll,

fixed assets, and prepaid expenses.

Client & Team Support:

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Supervise and review the work of junior accountants/bookkeepers.
• Communicate with clients regarding financial results, trends, and

recommendations.

• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Support annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor

inquiries.

• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, sales tax, and other regulatory filings as

needed.

Software & Process Improvement:

• Use and manage accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or

Intacct.

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the

accounting function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or in

progress).

• 2–6 years of experience in US accounting (public accounting or multi-client

environment preferred).

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or

similar).

• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
