US Accountant

We are looking for an experienced US Accountant to manage the accounting operations of our healthcare client in the United States. The role involves handling bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payment posting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior experience with California laws and regulations will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and financial record keeping for healthcare clients.

• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations.

• Post payments, track accounts receivable/payable, and manage cash flow records.

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and statements.

• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and healthcare-specific financial regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives to resolve discrepancies.

• Stay updated with state (especially California) and federal accounting/tax laws impacting healthcare practices.

• Assist in audits, tax filings, and financial planning when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of proven experience in US accounting (healthcare accounting experience is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and US tax laws.

• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

• Experience in California-specific accounting/tax compliance (preferred).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with US-based clients.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
