Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Billing Executive with experience in UK healthcare billing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, verifying, and submitting medical claims to private insurers and/or NHS trusts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify patient billing information, treatment codes, and physician documentation

• Generate and submit medical invoices to private insurance providers, NHS, or third-party payers

• Ensure compliance with UK healthcare billing guidelines and coding practices (including ICD-10 and OPCS)

• Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding or unpaid claims

• Handle billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and appeal denied claims

• Coordinate with medical coders and healthcare providers for accurate claim submissions

• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation

• Generate regular billing and payment reports for internal review

• Stay up-to-date with changes in NHS policies, private insurance schemes, and billing regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in UK medical billing or healthcare revenue management

• Familiarity with NHS billing structures and private healthcare invoicing

• Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical billing software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
