Role Overview


Urban Planner



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver

    urban development projects

    , ensuring superior quality, compliance and timely execution.
  • Serve as the

    point of contact

    for clients

    , addressing requirements and providing strategic inputs.
  • Contribute to

    business development

    through preparation of technical proposals, concept notes, and technical presentations.
  • Undertake

    research and analysis

    for Spatial / Physical Planning, Urban Infrastructure – Strategic / Feasibility, Climate Change, Environment and Disaster Strategic planning, Housing and Site Development / Special Area Development.
  • Apply

    planning tools

    including GIS, for spatial analysis, mapping, and project decision-making.
  • Draft

    high-quality reports, policy briefs, and presentations

    for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate urban, environmental, and infrastructure perspectives.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in

    Urban Planning / Regional Planning or related discipline

    from a recognized institution.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience

    in urban planning or consulting, preferably with exposure to large-scale assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in

    managing government projects.

  • Proven ability in

    client engagement

    and relationship management.
  • Experience of

    business development

    such as preparation of technical proposal.
  • Strong

    writing, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Good understanding of

    planning tools

    ; knowledge of statistical/data analysis tools will be an advantage.
  • Experience in

    environment and sustainability-related projects

    will be considered an asset.
