About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team at MITIN, Kolkata. This is a new role that will support various ongoing and upcoming digital product initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing intuitive and delightful user experiences, has a strong sense of visual design, and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and prototype intuitive, engaging, and user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Apply user experience (UX) principles to design logical workflows and seamless user journeys.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.

Design responsive interfaces that work across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.

Maintain consistency in visual elements (typography, color, layout, grids) across products.

Ensure designs are technically feasible and collaborate on implementation with front-end teams.

Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–7 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design (flexible depending on skill set).

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.

Solid understanding of UX principles, visual design, and interaction design.

Experience designing responsive and accessible interfaces.

Working knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

Familiarity with open-source UI frameworks/tools is a plus: React, Next.js, Material UI, SCSS, etc.

Understanding of SEO fundamentals related to front-end implementation.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
