Job Description

Responsibilities

Design user interfaces for mobile and web-based games, ensuring seamless user journeys and cohesive visual identity.
Translate concepts, wireframes, and gameplay mechanics into polished UI elements and user flows.
Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to align UI/UX with gameplay and business goals.
Conduct competitor analysis and apply UX principles to enhance engagement and retention.
Participate in user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs for better usability.
Prepare assets and design documentation for development integration within game engines.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in gaming or digital products.
Strong proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Working knowledge of at least one game engine: Unity, Unreal, Godot, or Cocos Studio.
Solid understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout.
Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UI assets optimised for games.
Basic knowledge of UX research, user flows, and usability testing.
Passion for games and a strong sense of player-centric design.
Exposure to UI Toolkit / UMG / Canvas workflows within game engines.
Understanding of motion design, VFX integration, or 2D animation.
Familiarity with design systems and component libraries for scalable UI.
