Role Description

The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient movement of goods across the supply chain, from supplier deliveries into the factory through to final distribution to customers. This role covers dispatch planning, vehicle scheduling, vendor negotiations, driver coordination, and compliance with safety regulations. The Transportation Manager ensures timely deliveries by aligning transport operations with pending orders and dispatches while maximizing vehicle utilisation through strategies such as backhauling.

By collaborating with warehouse teams, procurement partners, and suppliers, this position plays a vital role in achieving seamless order fulfillment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance, and fleet safety.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in dispatch planning systems, route optimisation tools, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage drivers and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
