Transportation Manager

As a Transport Manager at the company, your role will involve overseeing operations and business growth in the supply chain space, specifically focusing on surface and express transport. You will be responsible for managing courier operations and maintaining relationships with transportation vendors. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing relationships with transportation vendors - Overseeing new vendor development for FTL & PTL - Negotiating contract rates with vendors - Hiring new vendors for FTL & PTL - Overseeing day-to-day delivery activities - Planning dispatches and optimizing routes - Using data insights to drive continuous improvements - Ensuring seamless integration of Warehouse Management Systems - Managing escalations, late deliveries, and service disruptions - Implementing process improvements for delivery speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency - Conducting performance review meetings with courier partners - Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies To qualify for this role, you should have a Graduate/PG degree in any stream with 5 to 10 years of work experience. You should also be an excellent communicator with experience working across various departments such as operations, finance, customer service, and client account management.
