Transport Coordinator

Name of company - Confidence petroleum India Ltd Job Title: Transport Coordinator Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Department: Logistics / Fleet Management Location: Nagpur Salary - 20 to 25K ______________ Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate daily transportation operations for the owned fleet. Ensure optimal utilization of vehicles to meet delivery timelines and cost-efficiency. Monitor vehicle movement, route planning, and scheduling for maximum efficiency. Maintain and manage fleet documents including registration, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, etc. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in coordination with the workshop team. Track fuel consumption, mileage, and driver performance. Implement and monitor GPS and telematics systems for vehicle tracking and safety. Manage a team of drivers including shift planning, attendance, compliance, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with transportation and vehicle safety regulations. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments for smooth operations. Maintain transport MIS reports including fleet performance, breakdowns, expenses, etc. ______________ Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in transport coordination with a focus on owned fleet and vehicle management. Strong understanding of logistics, vehicle maintenance, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in using transport management software and GPS systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a team of drivers and resolve operational issues efficiently. Working knowledge of MS Excel and report generation. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Certifications in fleet/transport management will be an added advantage.
