HRBP Team Lead - US Healthcare

About The Opportunity

A technology-enabled provider of US healthcare customer experience and clinical support services, operating across care coordination, claims adjudication, and clinical contact center delivery. We partner with US payers, providers, and health platforms to deliver compliant, high-quality member and provider experiences at scale. We're expanding HR leadership in India to strengthen people operations, employee engagement, and client-facing delivery for our US healthcare teams.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead and operate as the HR Business Partner for multiple US healthcare delivery teams—own end-to-end people lifecycle for team leads and individual contributors.
  • Drive employee relations, performance management, and corrective action processes with a fair, timely US-compliant approach to minimize risks and improve retention.
  • Partner with US stakeholders and client-side HR to align staffing plans, shift coverage, SLAs, and client escalations; serve as primary HR point-of-contact for client audits and reviews.
  • Implement talent acquisition and onboarding strategies for US healthcare roles—coordinate hiring, offer management, background checks, and HIPAA-sensitive onboarding.
  • Use HRIS and analytics to monitor attrition, productivity, overtime, and engagement; deliver weekly/monthly KPIs and improvement plans to business leaders.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior HRBP and HR operations staff; standardize HR processes, playbooks, and compliance checklists for on-site delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years total HR experience with 2+ years as HRBP/Team Lead supporting US healthcare or healthcare BPO teams; proven on-site experience in India.
  • Strong employee relations, performance management, and stakeholder-management skills with experience handling US clients and escalations.
  • Hands-on with HRIS (Workday/Oracle/ADP), advanced Excel/HR analytics, and working knowledge of HIPAA/US compliance; willingness to work US shift.

Preferred

  • HR certifications (SHRM/PHR/SPHR) or diploma in HR; experience with large-scale recruitment for US healthcare roles and background-check workflows.
  • Experience building retention programs, L&D interventions for contact center nursing/clinical staff, and familiarity with payroll/vendor coordination.
