Tender Executive Job Summary: A Tender Executive is responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive and compliant tender proposals for the organisation. They play a critical role in securing new business opportunities by managing the entire tendering process from opportunity identification to contract award. Key Responsibilities:Identify Tender Opportunities: Monitor various tender portals, government websites, and industry publications to identify relevant tender opportunities aligned with the company’s business objectives. Tender Documentation & Preparation: Coordinate with internal departments (technical, finance, legal, operations) to collect required information and supporting documents for tender submissions. Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely tender proposals, including commercial, technical, and financial offers. Compliance & Evaluation: Ensure all tender documents comply with industry standards, company policies, and government regulations. Conduct thorough evaluations of tender requirements to identify risks and ensure the feasibility of delivering the project. Submission & Follow-up: Submit tenders before deadlines and ensure proper documentation and formats are followed. Follow up with the concerned authorities for updates and clarifications regarding the tender status. Maintain Tender Records: Keep a well-organized record of all tender activities, including submitted proposals, correspondence, and outcomes for future reference. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and legal advisors to develop competitive bids. Communicate with clients and government officials professionally and respond to any post-submission queries. Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to improve tender strategies. Prepare regular reports for management on tender pipeline, success rate, and pending submissions. Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or relevant field. Prior experience (1-3 years) in tender management or sales in a related industry. Good knowledge of government and private tender processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong analytical and organizational skills. Preferred Attributes:Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving mindset. Familiarity with ERP software or tender management systems.
