Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Technology Presales Consultant who can bridge business requirements and technical solutions across a mix of B2B and B2C client engagements. The role involves working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, UX, and Digital teams to support solution design, demos, proposals, and client discussions. The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in software delivery and solutioning, with awareness of digital platforms, marketing integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities that commonly feature in modern enterprise solutions.


Key Responsibilities


Presales & Solutioning


• Understand client business and technical requirements and translate them into clear, feasible solution approaches

• Support sales teams during discovery calls, client meetings, and solution workshops

• Create solution documents, architecture overviews, and scope definitions

• Assist with effort estimation, pricing inputs, and delivery assumptions


Proposals, Demos & Use-Case Context


• Contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses

• Prepare solution presentations, demo flows, and use-case narratives

• Coordinate with engineering, UX, and delivery teams for POCs or demo setups

• Position solutions for both B2B and customer-facing (B2C) use cases, as applicable


Digital & Platform Integrations (Subtle Emphasis)

• Support solutioning that involves digital platforms and integrations, including:

o Web and mobile applications

o CRM, analytics, and marketing-related tools

• Understand how technology solutions integrate with digital marketing, customer engagement, and analytics workflows

• Articulate the role of technology in supporting lead management, customer journeys, and data insights


AI Awareness & Emerging Tech

• Identify where AI, automation, or analytics can add value to proposed solutions

• Assist in positioning AI-enabled features such as:

o Workflow automation

o Intelligent search or assistants

o Data-driven insights and reporting

• Communicate AI usage in a practical, business-relevant manner


Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with sales, engineering, UX, and delivery teams to validate feasibility Act as a coordination point during presales engagements Support smooth transition from presales to delivery after deal closure


Deal Pipeline & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the full pre-sales pipeline, driving each opportunity from qualification through proposal submission and negotiation.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups throughout the deal cycle.
  • Interface with executives, cross-functional leaders, and global delivery teams to ensure seamless pursuit execution.
  • Mitigate risks and ensure internal alignment on scope, solution, and delivery commitments.


Required Skills & Qualifications


Education

MBA (Marketing / Strategy / Operations / IT preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology


Experience


2–3 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, or Tech-Business Consulting Exposure to both B2B and B2C client environments is a plus Proven experience in client-facing roles (virtual and onsite)


Technical & Platform Awareness


Good understanding of software development lifecycle

Familiarity with:

• Web and mobile technologies

• APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – conceptual level)

• CRM, analytics, or marketing-related platforms (working awareness)

• Ability to understand architecture diagrams and solution workflows


Tools & Soft Skills


• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills

• Ability to explain technical concepts to business and non-technical stakeholders

• Structured thinking and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team

• Willingness to travel within India as required


Good to Have

• Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market clients

• Exposure to consumer-facing platforms alongside enterprise systems

• Familiarity with digital marketing or customer engagement concepts (SEO/SEM, analytics, automation – high-level)

• Prior exposure to AI-enabled features or data-driven products
