Role Overview

Senior Manager – IT Sales


Partner role


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the

    end-to-end sales lifecycle

    – from prospecting and lead generation to pitch, negotiation, and closure.
  • Generate high-quality leads through outbound efforts, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Build and execute

    account acquisition strategies

    in the IT services space.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (CXOs, VPs, Founders) to understand their challenges and position Thence as a trusted partner.
  • Craft and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets by acquiring new accounts across domestic and global markets.
  • Maintain a disciplined and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system, with clear visibility on progress and closures.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies, identify high-impact industries, and strengthen Thence’s market positioning.
  • Represent Thence as the face of sales at client meetings, industry events, and business forums.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10 years of proven experience in IT services sales (mandatory)

    , with at least

    6–7 years in outbound hunting roles

    .
  • Strong track record of acquiring new accounts and closing high-value deals in India and international markets.
  • Ability to independently drive the full sales cycle with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in engaging senior executives and handling high-stakes conversations.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of solution-based IT services sales (Not SaaS).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High ownership mindset – thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, startup-like environments.
