Job Description

Project Manager – Key Responsibilities & Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project schedules, resources, equipment, and deliverables effectively.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources while maintaining cost efficiency across all project phases.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering to final delivery.
  • Delegate tasks efficiently to team members, aligning them with project goals and timelines.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate project risks, dependencies, and opportunities proactively.
  • Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Organize and lead stakeholder and internal project team meetings, including documentation of meeting minutes and actionable items.
  • Collaborate with clients to define detailed requirements, project scope, and objectives.
  • Break down projects into actionable tasks with realistic deadlines and ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor project progress closely and address roadblocks or issues before they impact delivery.


Required Skill Sets:


  • Proven project management experience within the IT/software industry.
  • Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
  • Experience managing project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and client communication.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools such as JIRA, Zoho Projects, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of modern technologies, including:
  • AI & Machine Learning

  • Mobile Technologies

    : iOS, Android, Cross-platform
  • Frontend Frameworks

    : React, Angular, Vue
  • Backend Technologies

    : Node.js, PHP, .NET, Java, Python
  • Ability to track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Strong empathy and adaptability to understand both team and client perspectives.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining project documentation, reports, and delivery plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and guide diverse and distributed teams.
  • Well-versed in Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master).
