Looking for a Technical Co-Founder at Distance Connect

We’ve built Distance Connect with one goal in mind,

to fix the broken placement and mentorship ecosystem for students across India. 

Over the past months, we’ve validated, built, launched, and grown,  

but now, it’s time to scale faster and stronger.

And for that, I’m looking for a Technical Co-Founder.

I’m not looking for someone who just wants a “CTO” title on their LinkedIn bio. 

I’m looking for a someone who believes in creating long-term impact, not just code. 

Someone who:

- Thinks beyond short-term salaries and college credits  

- Can take ownership, experiment, and innovate fearlessly  

- Shares a longer vision, to build something that genuinely transforms student lives 

Skills Required:

- Next.js (App Router): React framework for server-rendered applications

- TypeScript: Typed JavaScript for improved development experience

- MongoDB: NoSQL database for flexible data storage

- Prisma ORM: Database toolkit for type-safe database access

- tRPC: End-to-end typesafe API framework

- NextAuth.js: Authentication solution

- Tailwind CSS: Utility-first CSS framework

- Contentful : Headless CMS for blog content

- Googe Cloud Platform (GCP): For image storage and services

- Upstash Redis: For caching and real-time features

- Ably: Real-time communication

- Razorpay: Payment processing

- React Hook Form: Form management

- Docker: Containerization for deployment

- Formal Co-Founder Agreement (no fluff, full transparency)  

- Equity + Compensation based on contribution and commitment  

- Direct involvement in product decisions, growth strategy, and scaling roadmap
