Your primary responsibility will be to build and grow our mentor network by reaching out to industry professionals through cold calls, emails, and personal outreach, and converting them into active mentors on our platform. This is a high-impact, front-line role where you'll directly influence the scale and quality of Distance Connect’s mentor ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities As an Operations Manager Intern , you will: Outreach & Communication: Initiate outreach to potential mentors via cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and other networking strategies. Pitch & Convince: Clearly communicate Distance Connect’s mission, mentor benefits, and onboarding process to potential mentors. Onboarding Support: Guide mentors through the entire onboarding journey — from registration to profile setup, service creation, and availability scheduling. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of communication, outreach status, and onboarding progress using internal tools. Collaboration: Coordinate with the internal marketing and product teams to ensure mentor-facing materials (FAQs, guides, onboarding flows) are clear and helpful. Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from mentors to improve the onboarding experience and relay valuable insights to the leadership team. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Comfortable with cold calling, pitching, and direct communication with professionals. Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently. Prior experience in operations, sales, or campus ambassador programs is a plus.
