Job Summary

Job Title: CAE Durability / Fatigue Lead Analyst Reference: Revision: V.0 Summary This Role is lead Analyst of Durability to work related to full vehicle, system level durability simulations and on all aspects of delivery on the ongoing / future vehicle programs. Should have 7 to 12 years of working experience, must have previous experience of Auto OEM/Tier1 in Durability and Fatigue simulation with a demonstrable record of delivery of the accountabilities. Key Responsibilities: Durability & Fatigue CAE Engineer responsible for full vehicle, subsystems and components particularly full vehicle level, interior/exterior trims etc The Engineer will build Durability body Model and suspension FEA models for simulation purpose, and perform Linear, frequency response, and transient analyses to identify durability and Fatigue issues, and will develop design solutions to address durability issues Create proof of concept demonstrations for durability performance models. Work Durability Team, design, validation and problem resolution. Lead engineering meetings with vehicle integration engineering and vendors. Responsible for meeting vehicle development milestones. Simulation, create reports, give presentations and attend meetings. Manage simulation results and alignment with CAD Provide input in the creation of component specification, component DFMEA, and other technical design documents where analysis plays a central role. Communicate and work with body durability, vehicle dynamics, and NVH teams to deliver the best components and system that meets all performance, cost, weight, package, and durability targets. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelors/Master‿s degree in Automobile and Mechanical Engineering 7 to 12 Years of working experience in Vehicle level Durability and Fatigue simulation Rich Experience in Durability and Fatigue simulation using N Code, FEMFAT, Optistruct or Abaqus, Nastran, Hypermesh/ANSA tools. Experience with testing and result correlation Exposer to Test data analysis. Strong analytical background. Should be familiar of interactions with teams across Europe and India. Knowledge of legislation and its implementation in CAE. Must have a flexible approach to working hours, travel requirements and adaptability to changing and multiple priorities; Understanding of the design, weight, cost and quality constraints of a variety of manufacturing processes; Advanced problem solving abilities; Able to liaise with Project Engineers & suppliers on all technical issues; Ability to work as a team player to enhance the project team environment ensures support to colleagues and maximizes efficiency.
