Role Overview

The Tech Lead will be responsible for leading a team of developers and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and clients to develop innovative technical solutions aligned with business requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to provide creative, scalable solutions using technology.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective and efficient execution.
• Take ownership of the delivery of complex application features and resolve key technical issues related to assigned projects.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, unit testing, documentation, and delivery governance.
• Act as the technical owner for assigned projects by making key architectural decisions, defining coding standards, and ensuring long-term code quality, reusability, and stability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comply with the estimation process and take responsibility for accurate effort and cost estimates.

Code Quality, Security & Performance

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code is well-written, maintainable, scalable, and secure.
• Proactively identify security, performance, usability, and scalability issues, and formulate strategies to resolve them.
• Enforce secure coding practices, OWASP standards, and compliance frameworks across all projects.
• Ensure long-term code reusability and stability while reducing technical debt.

Infrastructure, DevOps & Monitoring

• Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and system monitoring.
• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure to enhance development efficiency.
• Track, establish, and report key technical KPIs including uptime, performance metrics, error rates, deployment health, and system reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), post-mortems, and incident response processes.

Innovation, Learning & Knowledge Sharing

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends, including AI and AR applications, and recommend their adoption to improve projects and internal processes.
• Deliver training sessions and actively participate in knowledge sharing initiatives across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a technical leadership role with a proven delivery record.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to build, guide, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical expertise across front-end and back-end frameworks including

  React.js, Node.js, Next.js, HubSpot, Strapi, WordPress, and Shopify

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, code quality tools, and monitoring systems.
• Demonstrated experience with secure-by-design principles, encryption methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong focus on scalability, performance, and high-availability architectures.
• Track record of driving engineering excellence through metrics such as code coverage, deployment frequency, uptime, and technical debt reduction.
