About the position: The Instrument and Electrical Reliability Engineering (I&E RE) position in Chevrons ENGINE Center provides instrumentation and electrical asset support to Chevrons operational refineries and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. This role works collaboratively across multiple disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Reliability to ensure asset performance across electrical power systems and equipment within Chevrons complex process facilities. About the position: The Process Design Engineer is responsible for providing process design support to Chevrons refining and liquified natural gas (LNG) assets. This role will be responsible for providing process engineering design data for projects, engineering work package development and other engineering related activities. Process design engineers will support cross functional teams engaging with Operations, Maintenance and other engineering functions. This role is a part of the Process Engineering team at the Chevron ENGINE Center.Key responsibilities:Review and improve designs for operability, reliability, and ease of maintenanceSupport day-to-day operations by providing engineering support including minor design changes, minor project scopes, long term maintenance support and technical input into long term process or reliability related issuesPerform Management of Change (MOC) work for design packages and associated changesManage multi-area projects and process system initiatives simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain detailed process simulation models to evaluate design and operating scenariosParticipate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs)Support process engineering turnaround scope development packages for Chevron assets3-5 years of process design engineering experience in multiple petroleum refinery process technologiesBachelors degree (B.E./B.
