Job Description

Why position exists? The position will be responsible for the execution of New Product & Services implementation activities, Tariff Configuration and Network Testing

Job Responsibilities Internal Compliance Monitoring

  • Evaluation of conceptual requirements (BRS) raised by business units, assess various risks covering revenue, customer satisfaction, regulatory, process, etc & discuss the same for closure.
  • Evaluate the Network requirements from Retail/Interconnect perspective and to understand the product conceptually to assess various Network Architectures, Call Processing Logics, and Integration with existing IT & Other Network Elements.
  • Evaluation of Solutions shared by IT assess the impact w.r.to processing logic, existing rule sets in Intec / Retail & controls and ensure that it is aligned with the requirement.
  • Contemplating of the Test Scenarios based on the understanding on Call flows and Network Architecture and IT Logic.
  • Validation of test scenarios output to ensure that the results are in line with the expected outcome.
  • To have In-depth knowledge on most of the Wireline data/Wireline switches regarding CDR legs and its parameters generation and proficient in validation of configuration tables.
  • To ensure that values in the records received result in proper usage type values stamping in AMD, depending upon the analysis of type of call.
  • Coordination with CFT & escalate any deviations to ensure the same are addressed on time.
  • Validation agreements signed with the various partners with respect to Interconnect / Roaming and highlighting of any gaps observed.
  • Validation of the ILD – UASL, NLD – UASL termination POI clearances templates received from NW and provides the clearance.
  • To extensively involve in Swap of Network elements and ensure hassle free launch of services within minimum time period.
  • Documentation and training of RA operations resources, for ensuring smooth hand-over post clearance.
General
  • Ensuring SLA adherence for NPI projects/products.
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards in the output being produced out of the activities assigned.
  • Ensuring that there are no observation lapses resulting in revenue loss.
  • Adherence to Reporting and escalations to Senior Management on account of any bottlenecks / slippages, etc.
Key Result Areas Functional - NPI approvals within TAT for Business & IT for CR / Non CR (BRS/Sol<=5 working days) ApprovalFunctional - NPI approvals within TAT for Business & IT for CR / Non CR (SIT/UAT/CLCM, Network Template & <=5 working days Risk matrix closed - 100%) & & POI Approval<=2 daysTariff configuration - % Successful approval of billing configurations BRS/ URS/UAT, Post production roll out Verification/ Production issue fix for all Tariffs - Tariff Validation within TAT - % of closure with in 2 working HoursAccuracy- % Defects in BRs Identified from the date of Production movement for period of 3 Months from production rollout

Necessary Preferred

Skills/ Capabilities and competencies Knowledge of Telecom and Service Industry A high measure of analytical thinking & reasoning skills would be a preferred advantageShould have good communication & co-ordination skills Ability to identify potential risksGood working knowledge in MS-Excel/SQL/Oracle.Qualification MBA / B Tech / B Com Qualified MBA / M-Tech / CA / M Com QualifiedOverall Work Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience 2-3 years (2 plus years in Telecom / service industry)Age (Optional)Essential RequirementBehavioural Attributes
