Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits; liaise with external auditors.
Manage all aspects of accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, and bank reconciliations.
Support tax planning and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and risk management.
