Job Title
- Magento Developer & In-House Website Management Team Leader
Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)
1. Magento Expertise
Magento 2 Certified (Professional/Expert level preferred).
Strong knowledge of custom module development, theme integration, and API integrations.
Expertise in building advanced e-commerce solutions with complex pricing logic (similar to Awnopy.com, Coversandall.com, Selectblinds.com).
2. Programming & Backend Skills
Strong proficiency in PHP (latest versions).
Solid experience with Node.js for scalable backend applications.
Expertise in MongoDB and advanced relational database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Deep understanding of backend logic for dynamic pricing, GST/tax calculation, product customization modules, and marketplace integrations.
3. Server & Infrastructure Management
Hands-on experience with Linux servers, NGINX/Apache, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure).
Strong knowledge of CDN implementation, server load balancing, and caching mechanisms (Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch).
Ability to diagnose high CPU utilization, downtime issues, and optimize performance for global traffic scalability.
4. Web & Integration Knowledge
API development and third-party service integration (payment gateways, FedEx, PayPal, Payoneer, CRM/ERP).
Strong knowledge of multi-currency, multi-country, and multi-language websites.
Experience with secure transaction handling, GDPR compliance, and web application security best practices.
Leadership & Management Skills
1. Team Management
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams of developers, designers, QA, and digital marketing.
Capable of training, mentoring, and building an in-house web development and support team.
Ability to assign tasks, review code, and ensure delivery within deadlines.
2. Project Management
Experience managing complex website migration projects (PHP upgrades, server segregation, module restructuring).
Hands-on with Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Strong communication skills to collaborate with management, developers, and third-party vendors.
3. Strategic Vision
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps.
Knowledge of SEO, website speed optimization, and user experience design principles.
Forward-thinking mindset to ensure flexibility and adaptability in development for future upgrades.
Experience & Project Background
1. Experience Requirement
Minimum 6–7 years of full-stack e-commerce development experience, with at least 3–4 years in Magento 2.
Proven portfolio of working on large-scale, high-traffic, customized e-commerce platforms.
Strong background in price customization engines, ERP integration, and multi-country operations.
2. Project Examples (Preferred Background)
Experience on projects similar in complexity to:
Awnopy.com → Custom pricing & GST logic, server scaling.
Coversandall.com → Deep product customization options.
Selectblinds.com → Multi-step product configuration & global traffic handling.
3. Certifications (Preferred)
Adobe/Magento Certified Developer.
AWS or Google Cloud certification (server/infrastructure).
Project Management certifications (Scrum Master, PMP) – bonus but not mandatory.
