• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead to lead our Information Security Engineering team. This role is responsible for overseeing the configuration, enhancement, and evaluation of security tools and services across our hosting and cloud environments. The Team Lead will guide a team of engineers in conducting system assessments, managing security incidents, and delivering technical consultations to customers. Staying current with cybersecurity trends and technologies is essential to ensure proactive threat mitigation and world-class service delivery
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Information Security Engineers to ensure operational excellence and goal alignment
• Oversee configuration, optimization, and maintenance of security tools such as firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and log systems
• Drive incident response and vulnerability management, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address security gaps and implement best practices
• Monitor security metrics, compliance status, and operational performance, providing regular reports
• Ensure timely execution of firmware upgrades and platform updates based on security needs
• Support cloud security architecture and deployment across public and hybrid environments
• Manage team performance, training, staffing, and daily operations including escalations and coverage
• Set priorities, coordinate with other teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, vendor roadmaps, and emerging threats
  

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 1 year in a tech lead or leadership role
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as WAFs (Imperva, Incapsula), IDS/IPS, VPNs, firewalls (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX), and log management tools (Alert Logic)
• Entry Level knowledge of various Compliance Regulations/ Standards; PCI, ISO27001, Audit Standard #70, Safe Harbor, HIPPA and FISMA
• Entry Level knowledge of IT Risk Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Information Security, Data Privacy, Vendor Management, and/or Business Continuity Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services
• Knowledge of ITIL, NIST, and other security frameworks
• Exposure to automation and orchestration tools in security operations
