About the Role



Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute international business development strategies specific to bulk and packaged tea products.
  • Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with tea importers, distributors, HORECA clients, supermarkets, and specialty tea retailers.
  • Lead contract negotiations for international clients, ensuring favorable terms, price competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Monitor global tea trends, demand patterns, and regulatory changes in key target markets (e.g., Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America).
  • Coordinate international logistics, shipping schedules, and export documentation with a focus on tea-specific compliance (blend integrity, packaging standards, shelf life).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and inspection agencies to ensure timely clearance and adherence to phytosanitary requirements.
  • Analyze sales reports and provide detailed performance reviews of international tea sales, channel-wise and region-wise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve export issues such as product damages, delays, incorrect labeling, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Represent Goldshire’s tea brand at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meets to enhance visibility and brand recall.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to customize promotional strategies and packaging for different geographies.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Agriculture (Tea Technology preferred), Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in tea export management, with established relationships in global tea markets.

    n-depth understanding of tea grades, blends, quality certifications, and international tea trading standards.

  • Familiarity with HACCP, ISO, organic certifications, and region-specific tea import norms.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills in a multicultural, multilingual business environment.
  • Proficient in using export documentation platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to attend buyer meetings, trade shows, and on-site inspections.


Preferred Skills



  • Experience selling to HORECA, supermarket chains, duty-free outlets, and health-conscious/niche tea markets.
  • Language proficiency in Arabic, Mandarin, French, or Spanish is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable packaging and clean-label consumer trends in the tea segment.
  • Analytical ability to forecast demand and manage tea supply chain planning efficiently.
