Overview of the role

This role is 80% about Talent Acquisition and 20% about the remaining HR stuff. If you're looking for an ops focused role instead of talent acquisition, then this role will not be the right fit for you.

Roles & Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition

  • Own the hiring process—sourcing, screening, and onboarding new team members.
  • Develop job descriptions, post roles, and coordinate interviews.
  • Build pipelines for key roles (psychology researchers, health coach, marketing, sales, tech, and product teams)
  • Ensure a great candidate experience and fast turnaround times


HR Operations

  • Set up basic HR processes (policies, leave management, payroll coordination, etc.).
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Help define and implement HR best practices as we scale.


Employee Engagement

  • Create initiatives to build a positive and high-performance culture.
  • Plan team bonding activities, wellness programs, and engagement surveys.
  • Be the go-to person for employee queries and support.


Performance Management & Growth

  • Assist in setting up performance review processes.
  • Help design learning & development programs.
  • Support managers with feedback and retention strategies.


Requirements


  • Startup Mindset: Comfortable building processed from scratch
  • Problem-Solver: Can work independently and find solutions
  • People-Centric: Ability to create an amazing employee experience
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, drafting HR policies and the ability to adapt to new methods with at least 1 year prior experience
  • We don't expect you to be a know-it-all person, but a learn-it-all person.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (must be fluent in Hindi and English)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a proactive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
