Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will work closely with end-users and cross-functional teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in person to internal teams or clients.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security tools.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and support processes using ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams as needed.
  • Assist in user account management (Active Directory, email systems, etc.).
  • Conduct system health checks and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure timely procurement or replacements.
  • Follow ITIL or other relevant frameworks for incident and problem management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, networking concepts, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, remote desktop tools, etc.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of IT security practices and data protection measures.

Working Conditions

  • On-site support model depending on organizational needs.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment if required.
