Support Engineer

As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems (Laptops), network servers, and virtualization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing and upgrading computer components and software - Managing virtual servers and integrating automation processes - Troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues - Providing documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning, buying, and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure - Performing or delegating regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures - Installing specified services and applications Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in installing OS like Ubuntu, Redhat, Windows, etc. - Bachelor's degree preferred Please note that this is a full-time position with night shift availability. The work location is in person.
