Description
The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for planning and maintaining daily supply chain operations across functional areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, and order fulfillment. The role ensures that both internal and external customer expectations are met while driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and risk mitigation.This role requires supporting the
US time zone
; hence, the incumbent must work in
Night Shift (5 PM to 2 AM IST)

along with
pickup and drop facilities (within PMC & PCMC jurisdiction).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain planning system strategies to improve supply chain signals.
- Monitor, analyze, and adjust system parameters to ensure optimal performance.
- Process and monitor orders with suppliers while ensuring timely execution of supply plans.
- Identify potential supply chain risks or failures and implement mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with internal and external supplier bases and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage and expedite procurement signals as needed.
- Lead and manage a team of 4–8 members , providing direction and support.
- Conduct metrics analysis, prepare reports, and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage tools and systems (Xelus, GOMS, aftermarket material planning systems, and other ERP tools) for effective planning.
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

- Plan for Every Part (PFEP): Knowledge of PFEP principles for material flow, master data, transport, and warehouse management.

- Master Supply Scheduling: Expertise in developing master production schedules aligned with operational assets.
- Materials KPI Management: Ability to interpret KPIs, identify gaps, and drive improvement initiatives.
Experience Needed
- Experience in supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, or order fulfillment .
- Hands-on experience in tools such as Xelus, GOMS, or aftermarket material planning systems is highly desirable.
- Exposure to metrics analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized teams (4–8 members).

Required Qualifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- Minimal to intermediate relevant work experience in supply chain or related areas.
- Prior experience in team management is preferred.
