Role Overview:

As Head of Supply Chain, you will lead the end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations across India and China. You will be responsible for driving cost efficiencies, ensuring timely availability of components, and building a resilient vendor ecosystem to support scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and optimize sourcing of all key components from India and China.
• Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and credit terms.
• Identify new suppliers and alternatives to reduce dependency and cost.
• Drive initiatives to reduce COGS across SKUs through value engineering, vendor renegotiation, and supply chain efficiency.
• Work closely with design, R&D, and finance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to the production team.
• Implement systems for accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production alignment.
• Negotiate and manage credit cycles with suppliers to optimize working capital.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery SLAs.
• Coordinate logistics from China: freight, customs, clearance, and warehousing.
• Implement and improve SOPs, procurement systems (ERP), and supply chain visibility.

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably in appliances, electronics, or consumer durables.
• Strong exposure to China and India sourcing.
• Proven experience in COGS reduction, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain analytics.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (China) as required.
